A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

This was made for the Global Game Jam 2018! The theme was: Transmission

Currently the second of my many future Game Jam games, Mindjack has you taking control of a robot in an evil factory, and sending your signal to other robots so that you can take control of them instead! The only problem is that you can't fire your gun while controlling robots, unlike the many others which are trying to destroy your signal in the robot!

You'll be using the mouse to click on robots to take control of them, and using the arrow keys or WASD keys to move around as your controlled robot. Keep in mind there is a short cool down when taking control of your enemies! See how many robots you can kill before they eventually overtake you!

Developer Notes:

This was actually made in August of 2020, and not on the 2018 Global Game Jam date. I personally couldn't do the project at the time due to college and time restraints so I made sure to save a picture of the theme and do it on a later time when I was ready and willing to do so!

I was originally planning on having a level structure in this game, and that you would play through one level trying to either get to a certain point, or by killing all other available robots in the game. I obviously didn't have the time, so a survival game it turned into. I am actually interested in turning this Game Jam game into an actual game at a later time, but there's definitely a chance that I won't. I mostly just liked the concept of a non-combat game, and that you "perform" combat by having the enemies shoot each other with positioning and dodging as your combat mechanics.
